Cross of the Concepción chapel

Its base is a rectangular step, sunk deep into the ground, on which is placed a cubic base decorated with two souls in relief with their hands joined in prayer. The shaft is surmounted by a capital with bent sides showing angel heads with wings in the central parts. It supports a plain rectangular cross with lowered edges. On the front we see a Christ under INRI, with three nails, facing the front. His arms are at a slight angle and his hands are closed. On the reverse there is a Virgin covered by a mantle with hardly any lines. The chapel has existed since at least 1754, so the transept could well be from an earlier date.
